4. Data Collection on this Website

Cookies

This website uses cookies. Cookies are small data packets that are stored on your end device. They are stored either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (persistent cookies). Session cookies are automatically deleted after your visit ends.

Technically necessary cookies are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. For all other cookies (e.g., analysis or marketing cookies), your consent is required according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time.

Server Log Files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser automatically transmits:

Browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of server request, IP address.

This data is not merged with other data sources. The collection is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Contact Form

If you send me inquiries via the contact form, your details, including the contact data you provided, will be stored by me for the purpose of processing the inquiry and for follow-up questions. I will not pass on this data without your consent.

Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, if your inquiry is related to the fulfillment of a contract, or on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in processing inquiries). The data remains with me until you request its deletion or the purpose of storage ceases to apply.

5. Analysis Tools and Advertising

Google Tag Manager

I use Google Tag Manager. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Tag Manager is a tool for managing tracking and statistics tools on this website. Google Tag Manager itself does not create user profiles, store cookies, or perform independent analyses. It merely serves to manage and deploy the tools integrated through it. However, Google Tag Manager collects your IP address, which can also be transmitted to Google’s parent company in the USA.

The use of Google Tag Manager is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If consent has been requested, processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time.

Server-Side Google Tag Manager (sGTM)

This website also uses a Server-Side Google Tag Manager (sGTM). With this, tracking data is not transmitted directly from the user’s browser to third-party providers, but first forwarded to a server container operated by me. There, the data is processed, cleansed of personal identification features (e.g., full IP addresses), and only then transmitted to the respective services.

This procedure serves to protect your data and comply with data protection requirements. It reduces direct data transfer to US services and increases control over the processed data. Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in data protection-friendly and technically robust data collection).

Google Analytics 4

This website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4). The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Analytics 4 allows the analysis of website visitor behavior. Usage data such as page views, dwell time, operating system used, and user origin are collected. GA4 no longer uses cross-site cookie tracking and operates by default without storing full IP addresses.

The collected data is processed via the Server-Side Google Tag Manager described above before being forwarded to Google. Your data is cleansed of personal identification features before transmission.

The use of Google Analytics 4 is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time.

Data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. Details: https://privacy.google.com/businesses/controllerterms/mccs/

The storage and analysis of data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in protection against spam and abusive automated use). If consent has been requested, processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time.
